The workshop

The kind of service a neighborhood shop should give.

Paul works from his home workshop, where he can keep prices below traditional bike shops and finish most jobs within one day. Mountain, road, gravel, e-bike, hybrid, kids' bikes, tri bikes, and scooters are all welcome.

The same practical approach carries into every clinic and guided outing: meet people where they are, share useful knowledge, and make the experience feel approachable.

Meet Paul

A lifelong teacher with the outdoors as his classroom.

Paul grew up in Kansas, studied Biology at the University of Kansas, and moved to California—where the coast, redwoods, Sierras, and mountain biking quickly became home.

After years working at summer and science camps, then 16 years teaching high-school science and advising a bicycling club, he left the classroom to pursue the work he loves: fixing bikes and guiding people through the forest on two feet or two wheels.
